New Year, Mindful Me (Part 2 of 4) In-Person
Mindfulness skills help adolescents learn simple, yet effective mindfulness tools and practices to ease stress, work with difficult emotions, and increase well-being. During this introductory 4-week program, teens will begin to learn and practice the skills of mindfulness to focus awareness and observe their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Applying mindful awareness to everyday activities can make a positive difference. Instead of reacting out of habit, we can learn to create the space to choose what we say and how we act with kindness and compassion for ourselves and others. Come and see for yourself how these life skills and practices can help you become aware of the power you have inside yourselves!
Join us after session 2 to create some affirmation rocks.
