Skill Level: Intermediate – Requires working knowledge of sewing and sewing machine operation.

Participants will create a custom bucket hat while learning techniques such as “fussy cutting” fabric for precise pattern placement, applying interfacing for structure, and using both zigzag and raw seam cover stitches. The session will also cover basic quilting methods and offer options for embellishment to add a personal touch.

This program is ideal for those with some sewing experience who are looking to expand their skills and complete a fun, wearable project!

Program begins promptly at 2:00 PM.

All materials and instruction will be provided by library staff. Limited to six (6) participants.

Located in the Florida Room, on the 2nd floor of the library.

Participants are encouraged to register only if they are confident they can attend. Please note:  

- If you accumulate three (3) cancellations without providing at least 24 hours' notice or three (3) no-shows within a six-month period, you will be automatically placed on a waitlist for future programs.
